HanyaAn Italian yoga teacher who lives in Taghazout and Mehdi, a local surf coach, host this unhurried week of surf, yoga and local life.

Hanya means “slowly, without rushing” in Moroccan Darija. Roots is where it all begins: a small, raw, genuine week to slow down, get into the ocean and reconnect with yourself. Spend seven nights in Taghazout, with mornings in the water and slow moments on the mat. Your hosts are an Italian yoga teacher who lives in Taghazout and Mehdi, a local surf coach. Alongside five surf lessons and five yoga classes, a walking tour and cooking class make space for the village and its everyday life. Applications are open for 6–13 November 2026. The price is €550 per person in a double room with a private bathroom, with three meals a day. A 30% non-refundable deposit (€165 per person) reserves your place after Taghazout verifies your request and sends the payment instructions. The remaining programme and available places are confirmed with the hosts. Hanya Roots is the first chapter of Hanya, a surf and yoga retreat coming in January 2027.
