taghazout.io is an independent surf-travel service based in the Taghazout area of Morocco, operated by its founder, Adnane Ettazrouti ([email protected]). We publish guides and live forecasts, and we organise surf stays, lessons, day trips, transfers and wellness sessions delivered together with vetted local hosts and activity partners in and around Taghazout.
When these terms apply
Using the website, sending a request or paying a deposit means you accept these terms. You must be at least 18 to make a booking, and when you book for a group you confirm you share their details with their agreement.
Booking requests and reviewed quotes
Submitting a request through the site does not by itself create a confirmed booking. Every request is checked by a person against real availability and answered with a reviewed quote or written confirmation — that reply, not the website form, is what creates the booking.
Prices, currencies and availability
Quotes are prepared and settled in euros; other currencies shown on the site are a courtesy conversion at the rate valid on the deposit date. Availability and final pricing can still move until your reviewed quote is confirmed. Where a deposit is requested, the stay or service is secured only once the requested amount arrives within the stated timeframe.
Deposits and balance — how paying works
Stays and packages are held with a 20% deposit, paid securely online on our checkout page. The deposit is non-refundable — it secures your room and dates with our partner — and the remaining balance is paid in person at the accommodation. Activities booked on their own (day trips, lessons, rentals, wellness, transfers) are confirmed with a 50% deposit, and the balance is settled on the day. Deposits are only ever taken on our payment page: we never see or store card details, and we never ask for payment over WhatsApp, phone or email.
Changes, cancellations and no-shows
If dates, room setup, arrival timing or transfer details change, the revised stay may require a new quote or availability check. No-shows, late changes or last-minute reductions can lead to retained costs already committed to accommodation, activities or transport partners.
Surf, activities and safety
Surf sessions, yoga, day trips, transfers and outdoor activities can change with weather, swell, safety, road conditions, instructor availability or operational realities; equivalent alternatives may be proposed when necessary. Surfing and ocean sports carry inherent risk: follow instructor and lifeguard guidance, answer honestly about swimming level and health when asked, and arrange travel insurance that covers surf and activity sports — it is not included in our prices.
Our responsibility
Stays and activities are delivered by independent local partners; we choose them carefully and stay your point of contact, but each partner remains responsible for its own service. We keep the site’s information, forecasts and prices as accurate as we can without guaranteeing they are error-free. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Guest conduct and responsibility
Guests remain responsible for providing accurate traveller details, passport or flight timing where needed, and for behaving respectfully toward hosts, drivers, instructors, other guests and local partners.
Site content, forecasts and links
Text, photos and data on taghazout.io belong to us or our licensors; personal, non-commercial use is welcome, scraping or republishing without permission is not. The live forecast is decision support, not a safety service — always judge real conditions on the beach. Some links (flight deals, stay maps, retreat listings) go to partner sites such as Aviasales, Stay22 or Tripaneer, which may pay us a commission at no cost to you; their sites run under their own terms.
Privacy
How we handle personal data — from booking forms to cookies — is described in the privacy policy, which applies alongside these terms.
Governing law, changes and contact
This website and the related services are governed by Moroccan law; any dispute or litigation falls under the jurisdiction of the Tribunal d’Inezgane.
