What we ask of a place
We visit before we list. A place goes on the site because of where it sits and the kind of week it suits, not because of what it pays — that rule is on our About page and it is the whole basis of the model. We need real photographs of the actual rooms, an honest answer on what the place is not good at, and someone who replies. Guests reach us in ten languages and we pass the request on in the one you work in. Commercial terms are agreed case by case, and nothing is published here that we have not seen.
